"Yet Michael the archangel, in contending with the devil, when he disputed about the body of Moses, dared not bring against him a reviling accusation, but said, “The Lord rebuke you!” (Jude 1:9)
Today, this devotional passage of scripture blessed my soul and a word of encouragement to all of "US" pursuing God's Will and Purpose. Truth, Moses did not make it to the earthly promise land because of his anger kindled against the people. But, he was God's Chosen that led the people out of Egypt that changed the course of history. Moses was faithful to God, acknowledge his wrong, and accepted the Word of the Lord. He did not stop pursuing the promise of eternal life.
God sent Michael the Arch-Warrior Angel to contend for Moses body after his death. His Spirit went to heaven and his earthly body. What an eye opener!
What Are the Lesson's Learned? There Are Five (5) Important Lessons in Pursuing God's Will and Purpose:
- Don't let people stop you from the earthly or eternal promise (Heaven)
- If you missed an opportunity, God dealt personally with you, and extended "Grace," walk forward pursuing purpose.
- Bridge the gap to lead
- Be thankful, help is on the way
- Seek the Kingdom of God in prayer to move to new levels in life and ministry.
In closing, it is never too late to change the course in life, pursuing God's Perfect Will to live. God is mindful of "US" and faithful to His promises to death and eternal life. God looks at the heart and willingness to repent, recover, surrender, and pursue purpose in obedience to His Instructions. May the delivering power of the Lord Jesus Christ be manifested this day.
