"Wherefore the Lord God of Israel saith, I said indeed that thy house, and the house of thy father, should walk before me for ever: but now the Lord saith, Be it far from me; for them that honour me I will honour, and they that despise me shall be lightly esteemed...." (1 Samuel 2:30-36 KJV)

Today, a "Word of  Encouragement" to Father’s whether biological, stepfathers, or mentor fathers; To stand up as "Fathers of Honour" and be the "Priest" in your homes, families,  churches, and communities. From the context of the scriptures, the LORD God sends an angel to speak to the Priest Eli. It was in a dispensation of time when only the Word of God would come through the chosen Priest appointed by God to deliver to the people. Eli at some point in his life sought to please his son’s more than God and lacked in instructing them. He forgot to walk according to the "Will of God," His commandments, and ordinances as instructed. Eli finds himself on the flip-side from God’s favor to a prophecy against his whole household. There are two classifications of Fathers: 1) Father's Of Honour - Obedient to God's Word; And 2) Father's Of Dishonour - Rebellious to God's Word. 

What Lessons can we learn from the context of the scriptures concerning Father's Of Honour (Honor)?

There Are Ten (10) Important Instructions Concerning Father's of Honour and Covenant of Blessings:

1. "Father’s of Honour" walk according to the Will of God in obedience with a life of submission to Him forever
   
2. "Father’s of Honour" always put God first through prayer, reading and meditating on his Word, communion with God, and ministry predestined by God.
   
3. "Father’s of Honour" instruct their families in the ways of God and by being an example in your communities and churches
   
4. "Father’s of Honour" are a representation as a “Priest” by sanctifying the home, overseeing the home according to the Will of God, offer sacrifices of prayer and praise, and leading the way in obedience to God
   
5. "Father’s of Honour" are faithful even through testing and no one understands
   
6. "Father’s of Honour" seek God’s Will according to what is in His mind and His heart for you personally as a Father. This is direct instruction God gives to you from communing with him through prayer, fasting, and the Word of God.
   

What Is The Covenant From God of Blessings For Fathers?:

1. God will honour Fathers who honor him
   
2. God will build you a house of sure foundation; Both physical and Spiritual
   
3. God will honor you with a relationship with His Son--Jesus Christ, to walk in His presence for “Spiritual” renewal to be a blessing to other people
   
4. God will make you prosperous and a “Light” from heaven that people will come in to be renewed, loved, fellowship, and discipleship.
   

In closing, Beloved Father's, be encouraged, you are important to the families, homes, churches, and communities. Don’t neglect the duty as a Father and Priesthood God has called for “Father’s” to represent. Stand up, grid up, be the warrior, and a “Father of Honour” by example and not dishonor. Father's are important to the

Church Body of Jesus Christ. The reward is great on earth and in heaven; Will be worth it all. Save a life!
